Our Founder

You could also call this heading “Our philosophy” or “Our vision.” This is the place to talk about what drives you and your business and what’s unique about your process. What you write here should be something distinct and interesting about your business that sets it apart from others in the same industry.

My name is Gail St. Elmo Gopaul.  For twenty-seven years, I lived with a man who thought it was ok to beat his wife.  Like you, I wanted a happy marriage, and stayed thinking that I would be a terrible mother if I broke-up our family.  I endured the violence, the fear, the shame, the loss, the hurt, and the isolation, because I thought that I could never get free. I am a highly educated woman from Trinidad, but after years of listening to a man tell me how weak and stupid I was, I believed him, and I thought I was too worthless to deserve better.

The day I realized that I was going to either leave my marriage on my own or be dragged out in a body bag was the most frightening day of my life.  Taking that first step to get help felt like I was stepping off the edge of the world.

Now, five years later, I am here to do what others have done for me: be the net that catches you as you too step off the edge of your own world and attempt to rebuild your life.

Together, we can all make a difference.

Our Story

Every business has a beginning, and this is where you talk about yours. People want to know what opportunity you saw or how your passion led to the creation of something new. Talk about your roots–people wanna know you have some.

Meet the Team

Write something about the people who make your business go or your philosophy behind customer service.
Why? Because people want to know who they’re doing business with. It’s a human thing.
